American baritone Jerett Gieseler was a prizewinner of the 2010 Irene Dalis Competition, the 2009 Liederkranz Vocal Competition, Wagner Division; the 2009 Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition, Wagner Division; the 2007 Chester Ludgin Memorial Verdi Baritone Competition; and the recipient of two grants each from the Wagner Society of Washington DC and the Wagner Society of New York and one grant from the American Wagner Association.

Gieseler holds a Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky.
